Biscarrosse is one of my favourite destinations. It is a grass runway, but also a seaplane airbase with a flight school for seaplanes.
Near the airfield. There is an airpark nearby. We saw some great historic airplanes. To the many beaches it is less than 25 minutes. Lots of accomodation nearby.
