Crossing the Alps over Lago Maggiore is beautiful. Give them notice - they’ll happily take you. EU15 to land on decent grass strip (they launch gliders from asphalt). Be wary of glider traffic. Excellent restaurant (sit down before 14:00 local). You may be able to use the club pool - excellent break on hot days.
